During a panel moderated by Breanne Heldman from People, Hicks, who played the matriarch of the Camden family on 7th Heaven, revealed that Mitchell and Jessica Biel had a huge crush on David Gallagher, even though he was playing their brother.

Hicks went on to claim that this wasn't exactly strange given that David Gallagher was merely a couple of years young than both Mitchell and the woman who would eventually become Justin Timberlake's wife.

Embarrassed, Gallagher, who is now 39 years old at the time of this writing, claimed that the real cast crush was Barry Watson.

While the revelation about the cast's crush on Gallagher was new in 2024, the topic of their thing for Barry Watson is not. It actually came up back in 2021 when Watson described Biel and Mitchell's behavior toward him on the set of 7th Heaven. During an interview with Us Weekly, Watson claimed he's joked with Biel in recent years about how she still may have a thing for him.

"I don’t think I thought about it at the time. I think years ago, you know, they had joked to me about it or whatever. And I’ve joked back, [saying], ‘Well, I’m sure you still have a crush on me,’ or something. But I think at the time I didn’t really think about that."
